USCA New Horizons Band Program

The USCA New Horizons Band program is a member of the New Horizons International Music Association which was developed to provide “entry points to music-making for adults.” New Horizons Band courses are designed to allow participants to develop individual and ensemble performance skills on a traditional band wind or percussion instrument, and to provide opportunities for musical collaboration and social interaction with other local musicians.  No experience is necessary to enroll in the New Horizons Concert Band. However, the Jazz Band is intended for players with at least some experience.
