Gregg-Graniteville Library

Welcome

As an integral part of the USCA Community, the Gregg-Graniteville Library’s mission is to provide the academic community with the resources, services, and spaces to thrive. All our services are developed with student and faculty success as the priority. The USCA faculty librarians provide research and reference assistance in person and virtually and general and assignment-specific class instruction. Librarians create curated subject, course, and topic research guides that are accessible online. The space includes access to over 50 student computers, group and individual study rooms, printing, copying, and scanning services. And during exams, we provide extended hours and snacks to keep you fueled.

Resources include a print collection of over 130,000 volumes, access to 250+ electronic databases, and an e-book collection of over a million titles. Items not in the collection can be requested through interlibrary loan or PASCAL Delivers, a statewide courier service that makes book deliveries to campuses five days a week, giving students easy access to over 12 million items. The library also serves as an official depository for United States government publications and South Carolina State documents, includes a Department of Energy Public Reading Room collection, and manages the Gregg-Graniteville Archives and Museum and the USCA Institutional Archives. In addition, the library has a technology lending program that includes laptops, iPads, webcams, and more.

The new Student Success Center is housed on the first floor of the Library. It serves as a one-stop shop for Library Services, the Office of Academic Advising, the Office of Academic Coaching and Tutoring, the IT Help Desk, the Math Lab, and Chemistry Faculty Tutors. The library is also home to Broken Ink and The Pacer Times.
