A Judicial Procedures Advisor is a faculty member who is an advisor to an accused student or student organization. The Judicial Procedures Advisor is an ex-officio participant in any student disciplinary procedure. The Judicial Procedures Advisor will be objective in advising the student or student organization.
The Judicial Procedures Advisor is not an advocate who sides with either principal party involved in the disciplinary procedure but rather an advisor who guides the student through the procedures and in the unbiased collection of evidence to be used at a hearing, if necessary.
