Collegiate Panhellenic Council

We are proud of our community and our tradition of excellence on campus. Being a part of a sorority continues to provide women with opportunities for leadership, community service, campus involvement, scholarships, and friendship while maintaining high academic standards. For information on all our chapters, our Executive Council, recruitment, and much more, please contact our executive council or our advisor, Abbey Walton, at [email protected].

Three organizations participate in sorority recruitment: Alpha Omicron Pi, Phi Mu, and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Go Pacers! Go Greek!

Interfraternity Council

The IFC and its officers aim to promote cooperation, direction, and friendship among all members of the Greek community at USCA. The five basic purposes of IFC are to promote the interests of IFC fraternities in social, academic, and civic matters; to serve as the representation between IFC fraternities and other areas of the campus, community, student groups, administration, and civic/local organizations; to coordinate and regulate all joint on-campus and off-campus activities of the social fraternities; to serve as a fraternal forum for the exchange of ideas between members and organizations; and to accentuate all positive aspects of fraternal life.

IFC fraternities (Delta Sigma Phi, Lambda Chi Alpha, Tau Kappa Epsilon & Kappa Sigma) participate in recruitment in the spring. Men interested in participating in fraternity recruitment should complete and return a recruitment application. Men interested in joining an IFC fraternity at USCA must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA if they have less than 24 credit hours. If they have 25 credit hours or more, they must have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

For more information about IFC and the chapters at USCA, contact the Greek Life Advisor, Ty Barkell, at [email protected].

National Pan-Hellenic Council

The National Pan-Hellenic Council at the USCA, known collectively as the NPHC, does hereby embrace the ideals of unity, achievement, and service to the community. We strive to manifest the fellowship of our respective organizations in everything we do, to inspire this idea of fellowship in every individual we encounter, to empower our people socially, economically, and politically through education, and to unite our campus community through positive communication and relation.

The NPHC Council, more commonly called the “Divine 9,” comprises historically (not exclusively) African American fraternities and sororities. USCA currently houses six of the nine groups: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Women and men interested in an NPHC organization should connect with the members within the organization they are interested in, or you can fill out the interest form to get connected.
