The Writing Center

Fall 2021 Operations

The Writing Center will offer in-person and online tutoring through Fall 2021. Our hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. To access our appointment database, visit You will need to make account before you can access our system. Below are the necessary steps:

2. Select “Register for an account” and fill out the form. When it asks for your Student ID, put in your VIP ID number.
3. Log into the system using the email and password selected.

WC Online allows you to view our schedule and make appointments with ease. The service is accessible on a computer or mobile device 24/7.

To make an appointment, select the block that represents the day, time, and tutor you want to work with. A pop-up form will ask a few questions about the context of the tutoring session, including whether you’d prefer an online or in-person session. Once you save that form, you have successfully made an appointment.

If students have a quick writing question, they can also chat with a tutor by messaging the Writing Center's Facebook page during open hours.

The Writing Center’s online workshops are available on-demand. The schedule for in-person workshops is viewable on the university calendar.


The Writing Center is located on the first floor of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building in room 112.
