major exploration process. If you’ve decided on a major, complete the declaration process, or incorporate pre-major requirements into your academic plan.
Meet with your academic advisor(s) to discuss short and long term academic plans.
Register for at least 15 credits in both your Fall and Spring semesters. Complete the mandatory advising requirement, in advance of the registration period, for both your Fall and Spring semesters.
Writing Intensive Courses
Attend 2 ICE Programs per semester Visit the
MATH LAB for help with math classes. Visit the
Writing Room for assistance on writing assignments in any discipline and for information on the Proficiency Portfolio in Writing requirement.
Request a Tutor for extra help in a specific course or subject. Visit the Library or the
Library Website to Find Books, Articles, or to ASK A LIBRARIAN questions about Citations, electronic access, research or other educational information. You can also schedule a Research Consultation (where they will help you with a research paper). Visit your professors during their office hours at least once in the Fall and once in the Spring, or as needed. Most importantly, attend all of your classes.
Contact Academic Success Center for an Academic Consultation for a one on one with a professional staff member to improve time management skills, study skills, organization skills and other academic skills.
