We're big on small business. In furtherance of our mission to advance South Carolina's economic developement by helping entrepreneurs grow successful businesses, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is pleased to present the following business consultant serving our mission:
Brent Hoover (Business Consultant) is an adjunct professor for USC Aiken School of Business Administration, a business consultant for the SC Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and an award-winning filmmaker & composer via Hoover Studios, LLC. Mr. Hoover founded and currently serves as the Sam Walton Fellow for the nationally-nominated Enactus USC Aiken team. His curriculum at USC Aiken is naturally focused on entrepreneurship and small business management, along with leadership, Excel training, and motion picture strategic management electives. He also serves on the Business Advisory Council for the School of Business. Regarding prior education, he is a 2011 alumnus of USC Aiken (Beta Gamma Sigma) and a 2013 MBA alumnus of UNC Greensboro Bryan School of Business. His extracurricular resume includes guest lecturing at the College of Charleston, volunteering as Event Lead for Relay of Life Aiken County and serving as a panelist at the 2016 Southern City Film Festival alongside international film critic Jeffrey Lyons.
