Parents, guardians, family members, and guests can register for a parent/family program when students register for their orientation programs. Parents and family play a huge role in their student's development and education. During the parent/family program, you will obtain information about our university and gain insight into the types of adjustments and expectations for your students as they begin their college career at UofSC Aiken.
The program will cover student involvement, financial aid, student healthcare, campus safety, support services, and housing along with other topics that will help assist your student in their success at UofSC Aiken. Due to the length and material covered, the program is not suitable for younger children.
After morning check-in, parents and students will have separate sessions for much of the day, as students meet fellow classmates and advisors.
The parent/guest orientation is optional.
We hope that you can take part in our orientation and look forward to seeing you and your student on campus this summer.
