Diaz is set to compete at Oakmont in the U.S. Open after earning his spot through final qualifying in New Jersey.
Former USCA golfer Roberto Diaz has earned a spot in the 125th U.S. Open. The standout from Veracruz, Mexico, who played four years at USCA, secured his qualification by tying for second place at the U.S. Open Final Qualifying event in Summit, New Jersey. Diaz carded rounds of 65 and 71 for a two-day total of 136. This marks his second appearance in the U.S. Open and his first since 2017.
