Newly Admitted Students
The following steps will take you from your acceptance to getting you ready for your first day of class.
Step 1: Commit to UofSC Aiken
Tasks #1-3 of Step 1 can be completed in your Admissions Portal.
NOTE: This does not apply to Spring 2021 students.
Only required from degree seeking students and excludes students admitted for the Summer term.
Early submission of your FAFSA can be crucial. You should apply as soon as possible to receive consideration for financial aid. The new FAFSA is available (www.fafsa.gov) each year on October 1. The UofSC Aiken financial aid school code is 003449. Students entering UofSC Aiken for the Fall semester will receive their financial aid offer (assuming FAFSA has been submitted and approved) online via Self Service Carolina beginning in early April.
After completing the FAFSA, then follow the other steps of the Financial Aid Checklist.
International students from many countries must also provide proof of tuberculosis screening. Further information about this requirement is included on the immunization form.
Students planning to live on campus will also need to provide proof of vaccination for meningitis.

Step 3: Final Steps
The final steps all depend on your student type. Click on your student type below to learn more:
You are required to submit your final high school transcript after graduation. This should include the type of diploma, the graduation date, as well as your class rank. Per state law, we are required to obtain this from each incoming freshman student. It is YOUR responsibility to request this from your school counselor. They will not accept the request from us.
2. Submit any AP/IB scores and/or dual enrollment transcripts
It is also your responsibility to contact the testing agency or college in which you received these credits. They must contain your final grades for the courses. You will not receive college credit for courses you do not submit to us.
UofSC Aiken's school code is 5840.
