Students can earn certification in Spanish through the "add-on" certification process.

Initially certified individuals who complete 18 hours of electives in Spanish (210 and above) and pass the content area of the PRAXIS II exam can qualify for certification in Spanish.

Students should consult with the Spanish program coordinator or the Dean of the School of Education concerning specific requirements for add-on certification in Spanish.
