TurnItIn

This workshop will describe how to use and implement this powerful software program to check student essays for plagiarism. Prof. Tritt will also discuss the strengths and differences of this program compared to Blackboard’s SafeAssign. Both programs are currently available on our campus for faculty use. Let’s move beyond using the tool to catch plagiarism. Let’s teach students how not to plagiarize. In addition, Prof. Tritt will cover Turnitin’s Grade Mark grading tool and their Peer Mark peer-review facilitation tool. You will be able to set up you own account and play within the software in the training session
