Important Information about On-Campus Jobs
If you are currently enrolled within the USC system, you qualify for student employment at USC Aiken.
Some jobs on campus are designated as Federal Work-Study (FWS). Check with Financial Aid to find out if you qualify for one!

USC Aiken uses E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of anyone we hire.
What does this mean for you?
You’ll have to provide current, original documentation when completing initial hire paperwork (Form I-9) in our office.

*International students with F-1 Visa status must provide the following original, current documents at the time of initial student hire:
- Visa (can be expired as long as I-20 is current)
- Social Security Card
PeopleSoft HCM is the system all university employees use to view and manage such things as
Direct Deposit is required for all university employees.
If you were employed before April 1, 2019 and used VIP to set up direct deposit, the account information that is on file for you in VIP will carry over into the new system. No action is needed, but we recommend that you access the new system in early April to verify your information.
Setting Up Direct Deposit on PeopleSoft HCM
- Log in at hcm.ps.sc.edu
- Log in with Network Username and password
- Single sign-on requires two-factor authentication (DUO)
- PeopleSoft HCM replaces VIP (as of April 1, 2019)
You can have your pay direct-deposited into up to three bank and/or credit union accounts. *Edits to this information can be made once per day.
Change Account Information
Change direct deposit elections at least 7 business days prior to the pay date when you want the new direct deposit information to take effect. *All account changes are subject to validation.
View your upcoming paycheck approximately two days before the check date. You can also view, save and/or print previous pay stubs.
*Paycheck info from pay dates prior to April 2019 will remain accessible to you in VIP.
