James Schroeder is an Adjunct Theatre professor here at USC Aiken. James attended the University of Arizona where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and the Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Production. Before becoming a Pacer, James was the Chair of the Speech and Theatre Department at Holmes Community College in Goodman Mississippi. James taught Speech and Introduction to Theatre at Germantown High School Tennessee from 2000 to 2001 and was the Production Stage Manager/Prop Master for Theatre Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. James has been recognized for several awards including the Memphis Theatre Award for Excellence in Direction for his production of All In the Timing. He has also received the Memphis Theatre Award for Excellence in Scene changing, props, ensemble, and in 2000 Best Scenic Design. In 2016, James received the prestigious Sally Wilson Distinguished Educator Award from Holmes Community College in Goodman Mississippi.
